BIOGRAPHIE

I have a PhD in History, Professor of History at the University, an employee of the Ministry of Culture for 28 years, where I have held various management positions. As an employee of the Ministry of Culture, I was a member of the Working Team that prepared the candidacy of the City of Mbanzakongo to be a World Heritage Site. Currently, I am the coordinator of the Work Team that is preparing the candidacy of the Historic Site of the Battle of Cuito Cuanavale to the Heritage of Humanity. I also participated in the preparation of the joint application between Angola, Cape Verde and Mozambique for the registration (process submitted and awaiting evaluation) of documentation on slavery in UNESCO's Memories of the World (MoW) Programme. I can work on projects related to the management and valorization of material and intangible cultural heritage, as well as issues related to the memories of the World (MoW) program. Project monitoring/evaluation (files on sites inscribed on the World Heritage List or proposals). Cultural policies (preparation of strategic documents, etc.). Training (capacity building for young heritage professionals on modules related to the conservation, management and restoration of World Heritage, etc.). Use of intangible heritage as an instrument of sustainable development.
