BIOGRAPHIE

I have started my career as Genocide Memorial Manager, in 2010 when I became an employee within National Commission for the Fight against Genocide (Former CNLG) for the period of two years and six months as a Tour guide and Memorial Manager at Bisesero Genocide Memorial. Since I was here, I received and guided different guests locally including Ministers and Chief Executive officers of different institutions including the staff of the City of Kigali and the staff of Rwanda Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration, including international researchers on Genocide and journalists. 2012-2014 transferred to Ntarama Genocide Memorial, also I received and guided different guests locally and internationally including Ministers and Chief Executive officers of different institutions including the staff of National Electoral Commission, Rwanda Revenue Authority, Office of Auditor General of Rwanda, staff of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Refugee Affairs (MIDIMAR), others different Ministries from Rwanda Government and the staff of Embassy of Great British in Rwanda. 2015 I was Documentation Officer within the National Commission for the Fight Against Genocide (CNLG) Since I was here, I organized and managed the Commission’s documentation Centre, analyzed theories and concepts of the complex of Genocide cases, provided good reception and tour guide visitors, by maintaining and develop relations with partners and other groups involved in the field of activities of interest to the Commission. 2016 I was Nyamata Genocide Memorial Manager, I received and guided different guests locally and internationally including Ministers and Chief Executive officers of different institutions including staff of Rwanda Parliament, Ambassador of Israel in Rwanda. January 2017 until today, I was appointed as Genocide Memorial Manager at Murambi Genocide Memorial. Since then, I received and guided different guests locally and internationally including Ministers and Chief Executive officers of different institutions including Prime Minister of Rwanda, staff of the Ministry of Education staff of Rwanda Unity Club, staff of Rwanda Parliament, staff Mata Tea Factory, Kitabi Tea Factory, different staff of World Heritage Site Managers from different countries of Africa, Ambassador of Israel in Rwanda, Ambassador of France, Ambassador of USA, General Director of UNESCO and many others. On August 14th -18th /2023, attended a 6th preparatory meeting of the African World Heritage Commit Members in Kigali/Rwanda and Bisesero Genocide Memorial site was inscribed on the UNESCO’s World heritage list on September 2023 in Saudi Arabia. I received many schools locally and internationally, and I explained to them the history of Rwanda in general and the history of the genocide in particular. As the person in charge of the Genocide Memorial, I am committed to work well with all diversity of society and providing a good visit to guests from all over the world, as long as I look forward to letting the world know the tragic history of the Genocide that happened in Rwanda, so the world should learn the lessons of “Never Again”. As an employee of the Ministry of National Unity and Civic Engagement in Rwanda, I do my best to ensure that Unity and Peace help us build a better world without the hate ideology, divisions and Genocide, as well as to fight against the denial of the Genocide against Tutsi not only in Rwanda but throughout the world.
