He studied Egyptology at Tanta University. In 2015, he had a scholarship to get a Master's degree in Cultural Heritage Management from the French University in Egypt and the Sorbonne Panthéon 2 University. Additionally, he got involved in many capacity-building programs in Egypt, Germany and Japan concerning cultural heritage management and heritage interpretation and presentation. He worked at the World Heritage Site Memphis and its Necropolis between 2003 and 2018. From 2017 to 2018, he occupied the position of Deputy Director of the Archaeological Sites Management Department at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. Currently, he is a unit manager. He has had the opportunity to participate in national and international cooperation projects focused on research and the enhancement of world heritage sites in Egypt. His professional experience has focused on two main themes: heritage interpretation and presentation, and cultural heritage management. Moreover, he has extensive experience in archaeological fieldwork. He is a member of numerous Egyptian and international archaeological excavation missions at different sites in Egypt. He participated as an instructor in many capacity-building programs carried out by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. He is very passionate and thirsty to learn many skills that enhance his work in the heritage field. A short text explaining how you can support UNESCO in carrying out its projects/activities. I specialize in organizing, preparing, and facilitating capacity-building programs and workshops for cultural heritage management as part of my work at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. I also develop the curriculum for these programs, which are designed to benefit archaeologists affiliated with the Ministry and graduates of faculties of archaeology. I have extensive experience in the governance of cultural heritage, and this topic is something I am deeply passionate about and continue to investigate. I can engage in capacity-building programs whose subject is interpreting and presenting cultural heritage alongside the Heritage Management workshops. I can contribute by developing curriculums or being a resource person. I can also engage as a volunteer in any World Heritage Management Project. Exchanging experiences and gaining new ones is one of my top priorities.
