Armed with a BA degree from Makerere University in Uganda, majoring in Philosophy with a minor in History, and an MA in Heritage Management from the University of Kent and the Athens University of Economics and Business, David's academic prowess is matched only by his practical experience. Significant achievements, including certifications in tourism management from UNWTO, and ICCROM, and various heritage management topics from esteemed organizations like the Heritage Management Organization have marked his professional journey. David's tenure as a History and Heritage Studies lecturer at the University of Rwanda since 2023 underscores his commitment to nurturing future scholars and heritage stewards. With a proven track record as a Heritage Sites Protection Specialist and Officer at the Rwanda Cultural Heritage Academy and the Institute of National Museums of Rwanda, respectively, David's expertise is widely recognized.
